Greetings Members

At the Blairadam range full bore competitions are conducted at 200 and 500 yards including McQueen. Shooting at 500 yards only takes place between April and October.
Attendance to Blairadam can be booked by contacting James Mooney. His contact details can be found at the club. Members wishing to use club guns and associated ammunition at the Blairadam range must also do this in advance by contacting James. Please note that ammunition must be purchased at the club in advance of the range day being attended.

COMPETITIONS HELD AT THE CLUB
The Summer League 2024 has finished and the results have been posted in the club house
Entry to the Winter league 2024 is now closed.
Other special shooting events are being held at the club, details of which are at the club house. Invitation to these special events is generally via Whatsapp.
The club is still being opened on a Wednesday during the hours of 1100hrs to 1500hrs. Mr Mike Currie is coordinating this daytime opening. Again we would state that only Associate, full and life members , with their own firearms / air rifles will be invited to attend this daytime opening, the reason for this is that during this trial period, no club guns will be out for use and no ammunition will be for sale during this 1100hr to 1500hr periody. We will continue to monitor the attendance to allow the committe to decide if this can continue.
DECHMONT
We continue to have access to the Dechmont Rifle Range for gallery and full bore rifle, LBR/LBP. The range days at Dechmont are the last Sunday in each month, 10am to 4pm plus Thursday evenings from April to September, 6pm to 10pm.
On the the following dates CVPC will be running the Dechhmont range. 27th April, 31st August and 14th December.
Please note that when attending the Dechmont range you must bring with you your Shooter Certification Card or you will need to shoot under supervision.

If you like to become a member of CVPC please send us an email with some background details about yourself and what you are looking for in applying to join the club. We have lots of interest in joining our club and can only induct a proportional number of members each year.
Members can now just turn up at the club and book your shooting details (the duty officer can assist if you haven’t done this before) or pre-book via https://cvpc.ezfacility.com/
We would remind members who wish to buy ammunition at the club that it is only cash transactions at present, so please try to bring the correct change.
Finally Members, don’t hesitate to contact the club if you have any questions regarding attending the club and booking a slot on the range. Remember, we are here to help.
Please remember to bring your fob to access the club. Also "check yourself in" or your visit will not be recorded on the EZfacility system!
Please note that Police Scotland regulary review the clubs attendance records and firearms used by the members. If you fail to attend the club on a regular basis and use your registered firearms this may impact upon your good reason to hold a firearms certificate.
Kind regards,
M Horner
Club Captain
